Purpose of the Job
The Sales Development Representative is the frontline of i-PRO's growth engine, responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting. This role focuses on engaging decision-makers at potential customer organizations, uncovering their security challenges, and scheduling qualified discovery meetings for our Account Executive team. SDRs play a critical role in building i-PRO's sales pipeline and launching their careers in technology sales.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Outbound Prospecting - Execute daily cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach using assigned Salesforce prospect lists to generate interest and secure meetings with decision-makers.
  2. Meeting Scheduling - Schedule qualified discovery meetings between prospects and Account Executives with detailed handoff notes on prospect needs and organizational context.
  3. Qualification & Discovery - Conduct qualification conversations using BANT methodology to assess fit, uncover security pain points, and determine opportunity potential.
  4. Strategic Initiative Alignment - Support company growth strategies by prioritizing outreach to target segments and use cases aligned with i-PRO's key strategic priorities and product launches.
  5. CRM - Maintain accurate Salesforce records for all activities, conversations, and outcomes while managing cadences in Salesloft.
  6. Product Knowledge Development - Build working knowledge of i-PRO's video surveillance, access control, body-worn camera, and emergency response solutions to conduct credible consultative conversations.
  7. Team Collaboration - Partner with Sales Development Manager, Account Executives, and Data team to refine targeting, messaging, and qualification strategies based on market feedback.

Qualifications: Education & Experiences
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field required
  • Demonstrated interest in sales or business development through coursework, extracurricular activities, or related experience
