Job description

The Business Development Representative role is key in enabling the Company to grow and develop. You will be joining a highly motivated team that is passionate about what they do in a Company that is going from strength to strength. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
This is an individual contributor role with a personal target based on sales closed.
The Business Development Representative role is responsible for achieving revenue goals in the small and medium-sized segment while driving revenue growth and market penetration for Tympa Health Technologies Limited. The role builds and maintains relationships with key decision-makers in the Primary Care, Urgent Care and Long-term Care and stand alone Audiology segments, while:
  • responding to inbound sales inquiries and proactively prospecting outbound to generate and develop a strong pipeline;
  • executing the sales strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives;
  • working closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns to create demand and drive sales;
  • building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in one or more of the Primary Care, Urgent Care and Long-term Care and stand alone Audiology segments
  • progressing opportunities from opportunity identification to deal closure, navigating the organization to bring the right resources to drive and close sales;
  • collaborating with other departments within the organization, such as product development and customer success, to ensure customer satisfaction and ongoing success;
  • providing regular updates and forecasts to the VP Sales & Marketing on sales performance;
  • developing and maintaining a strong understanding of the ear and hearing healthcare industry, including emerging trends, competitors and regulations; and
  • performing other duties as assigned.

This is a field-oriented business development role. Success will require regular travel to customer and prospect sites across the territory, including proactive face-to-face prospecting and account development activity.
Your Profile
You are experienced in selling to SME customers in medical device or other healthcare sales with a proven demonstrable track record of success.
You are a highly versatile, energetic individual who is detail and task orientated. You should have an entrepreneurial spirit, be practical with a positive can-do mentality. You will be able to personally develop, maintain and expand our market presence and be involved with exciting and impactful campaigns. You have:
  • experience in b2b sales;
  • experience in using sale methodologies such as BANT or MEDDIC;
  • the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers;
  • strong analytical and strategic thinking skills;
  • familiarity with ear and hearing health technology and the healthcare industry;
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • willingness to travel 50% or more domestically in pursuit of opportunities; and
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field or have the equivalent from professional experience.
Preferred experience and qualifications include:
  • experience in healthcare technology sales;
  • familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms; and
  • experience in SaaS sales.

Candidates must be willing and able to travel independently throughout Texas, therefore a full USA driving licence and access to a vehicle would be highly advantageous.
