Within the Natixis Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) Americas IT department, the Global Banking & Corporate IT group is seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manager to lead our dedicated Regional Compliance and Finance IT team.
The successful candidate will possess a deep working knowledge of Compliance (specifically AML, Regulatory Reporting) and/or Finance and Financial Regulatory Reporting. Combining strong hands-on technical credibility with proven leadership, you will guide a cross-functional team to deliver robust IT solutions that align with business objectives, while ensuring a high standard of day-to-day operational excellence and production stability
Essential duties and responsibilities
People Leadership & Talent Development
โ€ข Lead and Mentor: Direct a diverse, cross-functional team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
โ€ข Performance Management: Oversee resource allocation, career development, and annual performance reviews, identifying skill gaps to implement targeted training and upskilling initiatives.
โ€ข Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to adopt modern best practices in Agile, development, and system automation.
Operational Delivery & Technology Management
โ€ข System Optimization: Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and management of functional and technical information systems, ensuring high performance, security, and alignment with business goals.
โ€ข Production Stability: Ensure the day-to-day operational stability and outstanding production quality of the Compliance, AML, and Finance IT platforms.
โ€ข Resource Coordination: Plan, delegate, and coordinate tasks across internal and external (vendor/consultant) resources to effectively deliver on project pipelines and business requests.
โ€ข Proactive Innovation: Anticipate emerging technology trends and evolving business needs, proactively assessing their impact on the existing application architecture.
Stakeholder Management, Governance & Finance
โ€ข Business Liaison: Act as the primary IT liaison for Compliance, AML, and Finance stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions as well as interacting with Head Office IT stakeholders and experts.
โ€ข Executive Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional departments and executive leadership to align regional IT initiatives with global corporate strategies.
โ€ข Governance & Reporting: Drive key governance ceremonies, including the preparation and presentation of strategic updates for quarterly Steering Committee (SteerCo) meetings.
โ€ข Project & Budget Control: Provide clear, data-driven project portfolio reporting to senior management, while monitoring the regional team's budget to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
โ€ข Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
โ€ข Industry Experience: Extensive experience in Financial Services is required; background in Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB), particularly with Financial and/or Regulatory compliance, is highly preferred and critical to the role.
โ€ข IT Experience: Minimum of 5 years of directly related IT experience.
โ€ข Leadership Experience: Minimum of 3 years of direct management or leadership experience overseeing Business Analysts, Developers, IT Coordinators, or Project Managers.
Technical Skills
โ€ข Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks (utilizing Jira), DevOps/CI-CD pipelines, and test automation.
โ€ข Data & Analytics: Proficiency in database management systems (SQL, Sybase) and data modeling.
โ€ข Programming & Tools: Hands-on experience with Python, SQL scripting, Informatica, Business Objects, Power BI, and EasyMorph.

โ€ข Business Analysis: Proven experience in requirements gathering, translating client analytical needs into robust, data-driven tools and solutions.

The salary range for this Director position will be between $170,000 - $220,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
