This position provides technical skills in the role of the surgical scrub during operative procedures.## ## **Responsibilities*** Promotes the vision, mission and PI philosophy of LMH.* Utilizes effective interpersonal skills to promote teamwork, collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient services.* Performs skills from skills checklist accurately.* Participates in performance improvement activities, initiating improvement through proper channels.* Respects and demonstrates confidentiality.* Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.* Demonstrates accountability for maintaining and advancing professional competency, meeting educational requirements pertinent to practice.* Demonstrates flexibility regarding scheduling.* Adheres to safety policies and procedures and displays knowledge of hospitalโ€™s emergency code procedures.* Participates in staff meetings.* May participate in QA, PI activities and other hospital committees.* May participate in communications with the surgical representatives with the various vendors.* Demonstrates expertise with instrumentation, setting up the case and physician preferences.* Performs other duties as needed or assigned.* Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position**Qualifications****Required:*** Graduate of a Surgical Technologist program, or 5 years of scrub technician experience or hospital surgical technologist experience.* BLS Certification**Preferred:*** Recent six to twelve months of Surgical Technologist experience in the Operating Room* Certification in Surgical Technology# Our Cultural Beliefs* **People First*** **Integrity Matters*** **Better Together** At LMH Health, we value inclusion and diversity.
