Position: MRI Technologist
Location: Hillcrest ,Temple & San Angelo, Texas
Shift: Day / Night Shift
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. The MRI Technologist, under the supervision of a Radiologist, will perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures for ambulatory and hospital patients as prescribed by physicians or licensed healthcare providers. The role involves ensuring patient safety, maintaining imaging quality, and following established protocols for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities:
·       Perform MRI procedures on patients as ordered by physicians or licensed providers. 
·       Prepare patients for MRI scans by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety. 
·       Operate MRI equipment efficiently while maintaining high-quality diagnostic images. 
·       Follow safety guidelines and established imaging protocols. 
·       Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond appropriately when needed. 
·       Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. 
·       Collaborate with Radiologists and healthcare staff to support patient care. 
·       Ensure proper care and maintenance of MRI equipment. 
Qualifications:
·       Education: High School Diploma / GED Equivalent required. 
·       Experience: Less than 1 year of experience accepted. 
       Certifications/Licensure: 
         Current BLS Certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire/transfer). 
           Certified in one of the following: 
               American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT
               American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – MRI (ARRT-MR
               American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R)
