Job description

Ornamental Gate has been building and installing high quality automatic gates for over 26 years. Our specialty has been one-of-a-kind Gates that have never been built before. Our moto has always been “start out where you want to be, don’t put out junk then try to work your way out of a bad reputation.” As a service to our customers, we are a 01 electrical contractor as well as a fabrication shop specializing in all aspects of gate automation to offer our clients turnkey systems. We have grown to the point of needing a higher level of organization in our daily procedures. We are not a fencing contractor our main work is gate automation. In some cases, we will do very short sections of fence as part of a gate project.
Location: Spokane, Washington and the surrounding area.
Job Description:
  • This position is for a working, lead tech, installer, that could over time grow into a management position.
  • A leader and positive influence on others.
  • Self-motivated conscientious with a drive for excellence in workmanship as well as time management.
  • Knowledgeable in ALL aspects of gate and operator installation, maintenance and repairs.
  • A strong working knowledge of access control equipment as well as the ability to keep up with new technology and ways to implement these systems into our typical systems.
  • Maintaining truck cleanliness and inventory.
  • Very good customer service skills.
  • Very readable handwriting.
  • Strong computer Skills.
  • Some form of electrical license (preferred).
  • Gate Automation Certification /Gate Automation Designer Certification (preferred).
  • An acceptable driving record.
  • Able to lift 80 lbs.
  • Very proactive toward recognizing problems and coming up with creative ideas for correction.

Job Type: Full-time, very little over time.
Pay: $40.00 to $45.00 / hour depending on experience. We are looking for an individual that we will want to pay more to keep on our team.
