To thrive as a Tech Event Manager, you need expertise in event planning, project management, and a solid understanding of the technology industry, often supported by a relevant degree or equivalent experience. Familiarity with event management software, virtual event platforms, and CRM systems is essential, and certifications like CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) can be advantageous.
