Job Summary

Position: Application Specialist (Enterprise Applications) โ€“ Application Development. Location: Springfield, IL. Type: Full-time, in-office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise web applications using ASP.NET Web Forms
  • Write, maintain, and optimize SQL Server queries, views, and stored procedures
  • Configure, integrate, and support thirdโ€‘party enterprise platforms
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, test, and production environments
  • Ensure applications follow established best practices for security, performance, and maintainability
  • Communicate technical concepts, risks, and progress to senior management
  • Contribute to technical documentation and team knowledge sharing
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional application development experience
  • Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms
  • Proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework
  • Experience configuring, integrating, and supporting thirdโ€‘party software platforms
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server (queries, views, stored procedures; DBA experience not required)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a highโ€‘pace environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Organization Structure and Interfaces

The LRS IT team consists of a Chief Information Officer, Director of IT, Director of Applications, Director of Information Security, and teams for networking, infrastructure, cloud, communications, endโ€‘user services, and applications. The team is based in Springfield, IL and manages the global operations at LRS. You will report to the Chief Information Officer.

Salary

$80,000โ€“$100,000 annually plus paid overtime and full benefits.
