Description:
The IT Data Visualization Architect will craft visualizations and dashboards relevant to agency's different divisions serving both statewide and internal partners.
The IT Data Visualization Architect will craft visualizations and dashboards relevant to agency's different divisions serving both statewide and internal partners. This position will take part in requirements gathering, data modeling, visualization design, as well as training on site staff on visualization tools.
Roles and Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design and develop data-driven applications and dashboards in Tableau or Power BI, both preferred, but one or the other will be considered
โ€ข Conduct thorough data validation to maintain accuracy and consistency
โ€ข Align agency infrastructure with industry best practices
โ€ข Collaborate with stakeholders to align requirements with business objectives
โ€ข Meet project deadlines and requirements while working independently
โ€ข Other duties as assigned
Work Environment:
โ€ข Remote work following Agency hybrid work policies
What You Will Need:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant work experience
โ€ข 3 or more years of experience in data visualization tools
โ€ข Experience in Oracle products preferred (Oracle19c, RDBMS, pl/sql procedures)
โ€ข Proficiency with Data migration, Data Modeling, and ETL
โ€ข O365 applications, experience in Microsoft Excel is essential
โ€ข Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
โ€ข Experience in government financial management
โ€ข Ability to research and document findings
