We are looking for an experienced IT Coordinator to join our team at Miccosukee Casino & Resort. Miccosukee Casino & Resort is expanding, with completed projects including a new Smoking Room & Bar, a High Limit Slots area, and a VIP Lounge, all designed to enhance the guest experience. Qualifications

  • Must be able to communicate in English; bilingual is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support or coordination role, preferably in a hospitality or gaming environment.
  • Working knowledge of PC skills including MS Word, Excel, and helpdesk/ticketing systems.
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure, hardware troubleshooting, and software installation and configuration.
  • Understanding of IT asset management practices and inventory tracking.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be able to frequently move freely about the property, maintain manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment such as telephones, copiers, and computer hardware; withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods, and withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, and kneeling without restriction.
  • Be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental contaminants including smoke.
  • Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds unassisted in the performance of specific tasks assigned.
  • Must be able to work with others, communicate well, receive direction, and provide feedback when needed to achieve department goals and objectives.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with guests in a congenial and polite manner.
  • Must know how to assign and track pending tickets within the IT Support Team ticketing system for timely completion.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of coordination between IT staff, end users, and department managers to ensure efficient resolution of technology-related issues.
  • Monitor, assign, and track IT helpdesk tickets to ensure timely resolution and escalation when necessary, maintaining service level standards across the property.
  • Coordinate the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and peripheral equipment across all departments.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including inventory of computers, printers, network devices, and other technology equipment.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating IT projects, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements with minimal disruption to casino and resort operations.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers to schedule repairs, procure equipment, and manage service agreements.
  • Support onboarding of new team members by coordinating equipment setup, system access provisioning, and basic technology orientation.
  • Assist in maintaining documentation of IT procedures, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Communicate status updates and outage notifications to affected departments in a clear and timely manner.
  • Ensure all IT operations adhere to internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements, including Tribal Gaming standards.
  • Provide general IT support assistance as needed during high-demand periods or team member absences.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

The Casino & Resort will function seven days a week, 24 hours a day. We may find it necessary to re-schedule shifts according to our business volume. You must be willing and available to fulfill these demands.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to walk, stand, and sit. The associate will occasionally be required to climb and use balance. Additionally, the team members will frequently be asked to use hands and arms to carry and lift items. Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include close vision and distance vision. While performing the duties of this job, the team member may experience temperature fluctuations and moderate to high levels of noise. This is a smoking environment.
