Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Behavioral Health Aide for multiple travel / contract position in Moosic, PA.
Position Details:
Position Name: Travel Behavioral Health Technician/Aide
Location: Moosic, Pennsylvania
Specialty: Psychiatric
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary
Contract Length:13 weeks-Accepting travel candidates only
Pay Rate: $800 weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Inpatient mental health or behavioral health unit/s
Shifts available: Nights
Shift timings: 8 Hours; Nights, 12.00a - 8.30a
Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 X 8-hr shifts per week, EOW.
Position Requirements:
  • 6 Months of experience working as CNA/BHT with psych/behavioral health experience in adult/adolescent units
  • Strong crisis management and de-escalation skills
  • Experience providing therapeutic rapport
  • Excellent communication and observation skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Physical ability to support patient care, including potential restraint use per policy
  • Commitment to trauma-informed care and patient-centered practices
Education, License, and Certification Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent - Required
  • CNA or BHT Cert for PA State
  • BLS Certification from AHA orAmerican Red Cross - Required (Can be obtained upon offer)
  • HWC Certification -or CPI Certification or Similar - Preferred (Can be obtained during orientation)
Job Description:
  • Responsible for monitoring, observing and reporting client activities while providing structure and support of the clinical person-centered treatment plan.
  • Provide assistance with Crisis Management, De-Escalation, and Restraints as needed
  • Monitor and record patient vitals, and complete unit rounds as required.
  • Provide Therapeutic support
