Our core competencies include drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics/ pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), safety and toxicology, bioanalytical services, chemistry and manufacturing controls for drug development, and core laboratory services for clinical trials.


Job Description

This position may provide direct support to teams working on projects that utilize automation.


General Support Responsibilities Include

  • Will transfer manual assay methods into automation methods. Review draft methods, protocols, and reports.
  • Need to develop Automation assays of ELISA, MSD, qPCR, ddPCR, NGS, LC-MS and so on.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the laboratory workflow.
  • Contact suppliers, improve methods, perform equipment maintenance, introduce new equipment, and so on.
  • Train scientists in various teams to use automated equipment and coordinate the use of automated instruments across different teams.
  • Ensure automation systems are maintained in a validated state, as part of an active/ongoing lifecycle management program and in compliance with Current GXP requirements.
  • Reviewing automation documents, preventive maintenance, and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure compliance with GXP Practice and corporate safety requirements.
  • Use technical knowledge to assure the efficient operation of a variety of automated processing and operational and informational technology systems.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Education Requirements:

  • B.S., B.A. in Molecular biology, Engineering, Science, Information Technology, robotics or related field with 2+ years of experience
  • M.S preferred

Required Experience and Skills

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence and support others through a culture of inclusion, feedback, and empowerment.
  • A good knowledge of Hamilton, INTEGRA, LynX, Tecan, Tomtec and so on.
  • Knowledge of genomics including immunoassays, nucleic acid extractions, qPCR, DNA sequencing, preferred.
  • Experience with programming (R, python, C++), troubleshooting, preferred.
