The team partners closely with parents to support each child’s communication, learning, independence, and overall development in a nurturing, structured setting. Services are focused on the pediatric population, including children with speech and language delays, motor challenges, attention difficulties, and sensory integration concerns. Teamwork Therapies emphasizes collaboration between therapists and families to deliver personalized care, professional guidance, and consistent support so every child can reach their full potential.

Job Summary
We are seeking a pediatric-passionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy services to children in the San Jose, CA area in a school setting. You will also be documenting all patient care, observing and participating in treatment, and adjusting goals and milestones as needed for the best possible outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of speech pathology, is able to provide compassionate care to every client, and has excellent organizational skills. 
Responsibilities 
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across the lifespan
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual client needs and evidence-based practices
  • Deliver direct therapy services to support and enhance clients’ speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Track and document client progress, making data-informed adjustments to therapy plans as necessary
  • Educate and support families and caregivers to reinforce therapy goals and strategies in home and community settings
  • Maintain detailed, timely, and compliant documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and outcomes
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current and valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Prior experience in a clinical, educational, or healthcare setting as an SLP is preferred
  • Proficient in using standardized assessment tools and evidence-based therapy techniques for treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail in documentation and treatment planning
Work Environment & Schedule
  • Full-time position (typically aligned with school calendar).
  • Caseload of approximately 50–55 students across multiple school sites.
  • Primarily school-based work with a mix of direct therapy, indirect consultation, documentation, and team collaboration.
