Job description

Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the various tasks outlined below. If you're reliable, have a good work ethic, and can cooperate with co-workers and clients respectfully, this is the position for you.
  • ravel to various job sites in a company-provided vehicle
  • Support Construction Materials Testing Manager in achieving financial goals
  • Oversee materials testing projects to ensure the proper tests are being performed at the required frequency and to ensure that projects specifications are being met
  • Complete proof roll observations and undercuts
  • Staff fieldwork
  • Provide on-site project management to complete field testing
  • Review, update and approve invoices weekly for ongoing projects
  • Develop and manage projects with clients
  • Create and update project proposals and reports
  • Document accurate and detailed daily field activity and/or diagrams and report the findings to clients and supervisors
  • Maintain daily communication with technicians, contractors, and other project managers
  • Communicate verbally and electronically with various field personnel and colleagues
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience required.
  • Engineer in training (E.I.T.) Certification
  • P.E. license preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and a good driving record
