Job description

Job Summary:
Axelon Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Technical SEO Product Manager for a critical short-term engagement focused on resolving technical SEO issues across their multi-language global website. The role involves collaborating with engineering teams, product owners, and external SEO consultants to implement strategic enhancements and ensure alignment on SEO priorities and requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Technical Implementation Leadership: Collaborate with engineering teams and scrum product owners to translate SEO consultant recommendations into actionable development stories and implementation roadmaps
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Manage stakeholder relationships across multiple teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and technical requirements for SEO enhancements
• Technical Evaluation & Strategy: Assess the feasibility and impact of proposed technical SEO solutions within our existing web architecture, including CMS integrations, Akamai CDN configurations, and multi-language implementations
• Project Execution: Drive rapid execution of technical SEO improvements while maintaining quality standards and managing competing priorities across different development teams
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all implemented changes align with SEO best practices and do not negatively impact site performance or user experience across global markets.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3-5 years of product management experience with a focus on technical SEO or web development projects
• Strong understanding of web architecture, including CMS systems (AA uses OpenText TeamSite), CDN solutions (preferably Akamai), and multi-language website implementations
• Hands-on experience with technical SEO challenges including hreflang implementation, international site architecture, crawl optimization, and site performance.
• Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams in complex technical environments.
• Experience working with engineering teams in agile/scrum methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results in fast-paced, short-term engagements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience managing projects involving external consultants and multiple internal stakeholders.
• Adobe Analytics / Google Analytics to measure SEO / unowned channel engagement along with AIO and GEO strategies.
Preferred:
• Experience with Fortune 500 or large enterprise website management.
• Background in international SEO and multi-market digital strategies.
• Familiarity with enterprise CMS platforms and CDN optimization.
• Previous experience in technical consulting or implementation roles.
