The Team Leader functions autonomously in the performance of assigned responsibilities and works collaboratively with physicians, staff, and management to support the mission, vision, values, and strategic plan of Delray Medical Center.

The Team Leader is responsible for developing and engaging a highly skilled and highly functioning cohesive team. This is achieved through hands on support and mentoring as well as developing and implementing standardized work, competency tools, and educational events for the entire multidisciplinary robotics team including nurses, surgical technicians, and surgical assistants. The Team Leader identifies and responds appropriately to both internal and external customer needs by maximizing utilization of available resources and helps maintain quality standards for responsive service by actively participating in data collection, management, and analysis of key quality indicators. The Team Leader actively participates on the Robotics Steering Committee.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Minimum:        Post High School, Vocational/Specialized Training

Preferred:        Bachelor’s Degree

EXPERIENCE:        

Minimum:        Two (2) years of experience in an Operating Room setting.

Preferred:        2-5 years of O.R. experience with a focus on Robotic Surgery

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

CNOR or CSFA Preferred but not required

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

RN or CST, CSFA
