What is a Tealeaf in the context of digital analytics?

Tealeaf is a customer experience analytics software, now part of Acoustic (formerly IBM Tealeaf), used by businesses to capture and analyze user interactions on websites and mobile apps. Job description

Location:
Primary work location is Malvern, PA. Candidates should be within commuting distance (Philadelphia suburbs, South NJ, Wilmington DE).
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
Overview

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager with strong MarTech and digital analytics experience to lead an enterprise-wide implementation of a digital experience analytics platform (e.g., Medallia DXA or similar), along with the migration from a legacy platform.

This role combines technical program leadership, product thinking, and solution guidance-working closely with engineering teams to drive implementation, define integration approaches, and ensure successful adoption across the enterprise.

This is not a project coordinator role. The ideal candidate brings strong technical understanding, MarTech ecosystem experience, and the ability to guide engineering teams while influencing senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Platform Rollout

  • Lead enterprise-wide rollout of a digital experience analytics platform across multiple application teams
  • Drive onboarding, adoption, and execution across large-scale, multi-team environments (50+ applications)
  • Manage migration from legacy tools (e.g., Tealeaf) to modern analytics platforms

Technical Guidance & Architecture Support

  • Provide technical guidance on web/mobile implementation, including instrumentation, tagging, and SDK integration
  • Advise engineering teams on integration patterns, deployment strategies, and implementation approaches
  • Support architecture decisions around data collection, session capture, masking, and platform design
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, integration guides, and best practices

MarTech & Platform Strategy

  • Evaluate platform capabilities and identify gaps in data capture and analytics
  • Conduct competitive analysis and tool comparisons to support decision-making
  • Recommend improvements and help build business cases for platform strategy

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as a liaison between engineering, product, and business stakeholders
  • Partner with vendors to address technical issues, SLAs, and platform capabilities
  • Provide program updates, track progress, and manage stakeholder expectations

Governance & Execution

  • Support release coordination, onboarding processes, and production rollouts
  • Ensure compliance with privacy, data protection, and enterprise governance standards
  • Maintain documentation for architecture decisions and program status
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years in Technical Program Management, Technical Product Management, or similar roles
  • Strong understanding of MarTech ecosystem and digital analytics platforms
  • Experience implementing or supporting digital experience / session replay / customer analytics platforms, such as:
    • Medallia DXA
    • Adobe Analytics / Adobe Experience Platform
    • Quantum Metric
    • FullStory
    • Glassbox
    • Tealeaf
      (or similar platforms)
  • Solid technical foundation, including:
    • Web technologies (JavaScript, browser behavior, tagging, SDKs, instrumentation concepts)
    • Data and marketing analytics
  • Experience guiding engineering teams on integration patterns and implementation decisions
  • Ability to operate in enterprise-scale environments with multiple stakeholders and teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CDN architecture (Akamai or similar)
  • Familiarity with privacy masking, PII handling, and data governance
  • Experience evaluating or selecting MarTech platforms
  • Exposure to Voice of Customer (VoC) / customer feedback platforms

Key Positioning (Important - keeps funnel strong)

  • This role is best suited for a Technical TPM or Technical Product Manager with MarTech experience
  • Not a pure Project Manager (must have technical depth)
  • Not a deep hands-on Architect role (guidance vs. heavy design ownership)
  • Open to candidates with adjacent platform experience (Medallia not required)

For this role, the gross annual base salary range is $125,000 - $145,000/ yearly. for a full-time position. This range covers base pay only; we will discuss any bonuses, incentives, and benefits during the hiring process. Your exact offer will depend on objective, job-related factors - like your experience, skills, and qualifications - in line with our fair pay principles. If a collective labour agreement applies to this role, we will share the relevant pay scale details with you. Note: We never ask about your current or past salary during our recruitment process.
