We are looking for a English Language Teaching (ELT) Specialist who will be responsible for selling and promoting ELT products. 

Position Summary

The Second Language Division is seeking an ELT Specialist who will be responsible for selling and promoting English Language Teaching (ELT) products for the higher education market.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Second Language Division, the ELT Specialist will be responsible for selling and promoting TC Media ELT products across Quebec and the Western Canadian provinces.

Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

  • Sell our print and digital resources to target markets;
  • Implement sales development action plans;
  • Design and implement the territory action plan and report on trends and market needs;
  • Make in-person visits to educational clients in target markets, so some travel will be required;
  • Provide training to ELT teachers and coordinators on our print and digital products.
Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:

  • You hold a university degree in English literature, modern languages, English language teaching or any other relevant training;
  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in teaching English and/or previous experience in a language school, college or university;
  • You have excellent spoken and written English skills;
  • You are customer-oriented, organized, autonomous and reliable with sales experience as a definite asset;
  • You can develop new business opportunities and work to strict deadlines;
  • You hold a valid driver's license and live in Canada.
