Job description

The Department of Teaching and Learning at Austin Peay State University is seeking qualified part-time Instructors to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of instructional planning, assessment, and classroom management.ย 

Primary Duties and Responsibilitiesย 

- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of instructional planning, assessment, and classroom management.ย 

- Must be willing to teach at times and locations that best suits the needs of students and the Department.

Physical Requirementsย 

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.ย 

Required Minimum Qualificationsย 

- A minimum of a Master's Degree from an accredited university in the field of Education.ย 

- Three years of prior teaching experience in P - 12 public or private schools.ย 

- Hold a current state teaching license.ย 

- Must have the ability to learn or have prior experience with on-line teaching. - A background search will be required of the successful applicant.
