As a Student Teacher/Counselor/Social Worker or Administrative Intern in our district, youwill work with our students, families, and community to ignite the joy of learningand prepare every student for the greatest success in college, career, andbeyond.
Clarification:
Please beaware that this application is intended specifically for Student Teacher/Counselor/Social Worker or Administrative Intern placement. For these purposes, "Student-teacher" means any studentwho is enrolled in an institution of higher learning approved by the StateBoard of Education for training and who is jointly assigned by theinstitution of higher learning and a board of education of a school district toperform practice teaching under the direction of a regularly employed andcertified teacher. A student teacher, while serving an internship under thesupervision of a certified teacher, shall be accorded the same protection ofthe laws as that accorded the certified teacher.
Pleasenote: Requests for fulfillment of any other Experiential Educationrequirements, (including but not limited to: Externships, Observations, orPracticums through Athletics, Health and Wellness, Language and CulturalServices, etc.) are not processed through this application.
