Job description

Port Byron Central School District is seeking an energetic and compassionate individual to work as a Teaching Assistant.
This individual will assist a certified school teacher in their duties in the classroom and will provide assistance to students in direct support of a teacher.
The individual must be able to establish positive relationships with the students, faculty and parents.
Essential Skills & Qualities:
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive, firm but kind attitude.
  • Ability to build trust with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Familiarity with school procedures and learning methods.
