Job description

Position Summary...Assists in the leadership of the Stocking processes, respond to problems and inquiries, and develop associates through teaching and training. Ensure a high level of customer service while ensuring task completion.
Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions and assists on the salesfloor as required.What you'll do...

1. Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
2. Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Stocking 1 and 2 Coach and the Store Management Team. Delegate, assist and follow-up on completion of daily VizPick processes.
3. Assesses the overall presentation of General Merchandise and Food and Consumable Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.
4. Ensure strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.
5. Review completed schedules with People Lead.
6. Assign Associates to support with coverage in all areas of the store.
7. Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.
8. Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
9. Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management
10. Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates. Supports recruiting and hiring new associates.
