Position: K-6 Associate Teacher

Salary: $36,000 - $48,000

Summary :

The Associate Teacher is an integral part of the classroom at Renaissance Academy Charter School of the Art. He/she is both a collaborator as well as an assistant. Associate Teachers will be provided additional training in pedagogy and instruction in order to be effective classroom assistants. Reports to Assistant Principal and/or Principal

Qualifications:

College graduate, with an Associate Degree or higher Two years successful experience in an educational setting

 Works with teachers to address individual needs of students Works with students individually or in small groups, under supervision Assists in classroom management Uses materials effectively and keep activity focused on objective Attends professional development training Keeps students on task.
