Total Compensation

  • Salary: Salary range begins at $43,888

About the Position
The Research Assistant supports the ongoing research in the Marshall lab, specifically investigating the cellular and molecular mechanisms of Alzheimer's disease. The position involves executing and optimizing experimental protocols, maintaining cell culture lines, assisting with microscopy-based analyses, and contributing to data collection and interpretation. The Research Assistant will also play a key role in laboratory organization, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform molecular and cellular assays (35%)
    • Prepare reagents, buffers, and experimental materials
    • Maintain and culture cell lines
    • Record, organize, and maintain accurate experimental data
