The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for supporting comprehensive electrical engineering tasks for Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) plant projects. This role encompasses the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems. The position provides practical experience with industrial electrical equipment and involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with 0-3 years of experience seeking to develop strong technical skills within a fast-paced, project-oriented industrial setting.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily operations along with preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment, such as HT/LT motors, drives, transformers, switchgear, control panels, and auxiliary systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections, motor testing, switchgear maintenance, wiring checks, grounding (earthing) verifications, and insulation/resistance testing.
  • Assist in the installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical, control, and automation systems, including PLCs, relays, drives, and control panels.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, mechanical, and instrumentation teams to ensure the plant operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation such as maintenance logs, test records, and safety/compliance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, including lock-out/tag-out (LOTO), grounding procedures, and environmental regulations.
  • Gain hands-on experience with power distribution systems, LV/MV/HV networks, switchyards, transformer functions, and energy efficiency programs.
  • Engage in continuous learning to build comprehensive expertise in industrial electrical engineering.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates with up to 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, industrial systems, or related engineering fields will also be considered.
  • Solid knowledge of electrical power systems, motors, drives, transformers, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with switchgear, PLCs, automation/control systems, and electrical circuit design.
  • Capability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
  • Basic understanding of electrical safety practices, including LOTO, grounding, and insulation testing.
