Job description

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a premier healthcare system seeking a dedicated Pediatric Surgeon to join a dynamic team in Lakeland, Florida.

This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative environment, working alongside two established Pediatric Surgeons with the added clinical support of five additional specialists based nearby in Orlando. You will be practicing at one of the largest independent hospitals in Floridaโ€”a leading institution that sees over 200,000 ER visits (including 54,000 Pediatric visits) and 43,000 admissions annually.

The position is based in a state-of-the-art women and children's pavilion. Opened in 2018, this facility offers 300,000 square feet of advanced inpatient and outpatient space, including:

  • 18-bed Pediatric Medical/Surgical Unit

  • 12-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

  • 30-bed Level III NICU
