Job description

Director of BIM & Technology

Location: Miami Beach, FL

Work Arrangement: In-Person

Meshberg Group is a boutique architecture and interior design firm based in Miami Beach specializing in multifamily, hospitality, workplace, and high-end residential projects. We are a collaborative team of 10 looking for an experienced Director of BIM & Technology to lead our BIM standards, quality‑control processes, project technology, and evolving AI‑enabled workflows.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys building systems, mentoring teams, solving technical challenges, and improving how projects are delivered. You'll work closely with firm leadership and project teams to ensure our documentation, technology, and workflows are accurate, efficient, and continuously improving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and maintain firm-wide BIM standards, workflows, templates, families, and content libraries.
  • Oversee QA/QC across all projects, reviewing Revit models and construction documents for accuracy, consistency, coordination, and completeness.
  • Conduct model audits to identify opportunities to reduce errors, improve coordination, and streamline production.
  • Support both architectural and interior design documentation, including detailing, millwork, finish schedules, FF&E coordination, and construction documentation.
  • Coordinate BIM workflows with consultants, engineers, contractors, and project teams.
  • Develop BIM execution plans and project-specific documentation standards.
  • Provide hands‑on technical support and assist project teams when needed.
  • Train and mentor staff in Revit, documentation standards, and best practices.
  • Partner with leadership to improve project delivery, staffing, scheduling, and resource planning through Monograph.
  • Research, evaluate, and implement AI tools, automation, and emerging technologies that improve documentation, quality control, and overall firm efficiency.
  • Help establish practical standards for the responsible use of AI across the practice.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of BIM experience within an architecture or interior design firm.
  • Leadership experience managing BIM standards, QA/QC, and firm-wide workflows.
  • Expert‑level proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
  • Extensive experience producing and reviewing construction documents.
  • Strong understanding of architectural and interior design documentation and consultant coordination.
  • Experience with multifamily, hospitality, workplace, or residential projects.
  • Experience with Monograph or similar project management software is preferred.
  • Interest in AI, automation, and technology within architecture and design.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
Who You Are

You're equally comfortable reviewing a construction document set, mentoring a junior team member, improving a Revit family, or evaluating a new AI workflow. You enjoy creating systems that make teams more effective and understand that great technology is only successful when people actually use it.

You're collaborative, approachable, and accountable. You know how to set high standards while building trust, and you enjoy helping others grow.

What Success Looks Like
  • Consistently high‑quality construction‑document sets.
  • Strong QA/QC processes across every project.
  • Better coordination with fewer RFIs and revisions.
  • Improved BIM standards and Revit workflows.
  • Greater visibility into staffing and project performance through Monograph.
  • Practical adoption of AI and automation that improves efficiency without sacrificing quality.
  • A studio where technology supports design rather than complicates it.
Why Join Meshberg Group?

This is an opportunity to shape how an award‑winning design studio works. You'll have a direct voice in our BIM standards, technology strategy, AI implementation, and project delivery while working on thoughtful, design‑driven multifamily, hospitality, workplace, and residential projects.

We're intentionally a small, collaborative firm where every team member has a meaningful impact. If you're excited about building better systems, mentoring talented designers, and helping define the future of technology in architecture, we'd love to hear from you.

Location: Miami Beach, FL (In Person)

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.
