Full-Time Teacher Assistant
Location: Burlington County Special Services School District Westampton Campus

Position Summary

  • The Burlington County Special Services School District (BCSSSD) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students with unique abilities and committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging educational environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's Degree (preferred)
  • Experience working with children with disabilities (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to support students with significant educational and behavioral challenges
  • Willingness to work with a diverse student population
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding students, staff, and school matters
  • Physical ability to perform duties, including frequent bending and lifting (up to 50 lbs)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist certified teachers in planning and implementing daily activities
  • Support instructional efforts and reinforce learning objectives
