Job description

We are seeking Teacher Assistants to join our team of caring professionals and provide services for children in our Pre-School.

School Calendar - 32 1/2hr work week plus 6-week summer program!!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in implementing the individual goals for each student as mandated on the IEP under the supervision of the classroom teacher.

Assist in classroom management during large and small group activities.

Assist the classroom teacher in preparing for all classroom activities.

Assist the teacher in all classroom planning and instruction throughout the day.

Assist the students with daily living skills as needed.

Pay Rate $18.25 per hour, Full-time, Part-time

  • Minimum 6 college credits and Initial Teacher Assistant Certification.
  • Required exam-NYS Assessment of Teaching Assistant Skills (ATAS)
