Job Title: Production Artisan
Company: Piper and Leaf Tea Co.
Location: Lacey's Spring, AL
Summary - The Production Artisan is a key member of the Piper and Leaf Tea Co. production team, reporting directly to the Production Manager. This role is responsible for the hands-on processing, making, and packaging of our core tea products. The Production Artisan will execute all stages of production, from preparation to fulfillment, ensuring every product meets our high standards for quality, safety, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Product Crafting & Processing: Execute daily production tasks, including the brewing, mixing, and packaging of all products according to established recipes and procedures.
  • Quality & Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Strictly adhere to all safety and sanitation measures, including the proper cleaning of all storage areas, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Inventory & Record Keeping: Take responsibility for the accurate counting and recording of all raw materials and finished goods as part of the inventory management process.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively attend and participate in team huddles and meetings. Communicate effectively with the supervisory team regarding operational issues, observations, and suggestions for improvement.
  • Operational Support: Pass and maintain all required certifications and training. Handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
