Job description

Position Summary
TCW is a leading global asset management firm with a strong foundation across Fixed Income, Private Credit & Alternatives, and Equities. We are committed to delivering exceptional client outcomes through a collaborative culture and a focus on long-term performance. As part of our ongoing commitment to client service excellence, we are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Centralized RFP team.
The RFP Writer will be part of a high-performing team within TCW's Centralized RFP group. This team is responsible for the end-to-end coordination and completion of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) from both prospective and existing institutional and wealth clients. The Junior RFP Writer will partner closely with investment teams and global distribution channels to ensure timely, high-quality, and compliant responses that accurately represent TCW's capabilities and value proposition.
Essential Duties
  • Draft and coordinate responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), ensuring quality, accuracy, and alignment with TCW's positioning.
  • Manage assigned projects across multiple deadlines, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across Fixed Income, Private Credit & ABF, Equities, Compliance, and Distribution to gather and refine content.
  • Interpret and communicate TCW's investment philosophy, process, and value proposition in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Support content management efforts by maintaining and enhancing standard language in RFP tools such as Responsive.
  • Contribute to team projects focused on improving processes, workflow automation, and content governance.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience, ideally in an asset management RFP or client service role.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex investment topics clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with RFP software (e.g., Responsive) strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with institutional and intermediary distribution channels is a plus.

Estimated Compensation:
Base Salary: For CA/NY or MA based position, the base salary range is $120k-$140k. This represents base salary range only.
Other Compensation:In addition to the base salary, this position will be eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus.
