Job Title: Endpoint Security Engineer III Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: CACI has an exciting opportunity for an Endpoint Security Engineer to join our Transport & Cybersecurity Services (TCS) team in either Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO. Our Endpoint Security team is rapidly growing! This is one of several new positions that we have added to the TCS program. This is an exceptional opportunity for a TS/SCI cleared professional to join an incredibly talented team, work with cutting edge technologies, and propel your career within the Cyber realm! TCS is a long-term, CACI Prime contract with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in support of the customer's GEOINT mission. The Endpoint Security Engineer will support our Intelligence Community customer's various endpoint security platforms. Positions on TCS require a TS/SCI clearance to be eligible for hire; with the ability to successfully pass a government polygraph as a post-hire requirement. Responsibilities: • Implement and apply technologies, processes, and practices designed to protect networks, devices, programs, and data from malicious attack, damage, or unauthorized access.
• Provide engineering and sustainment support for Carbon Black Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
• Establish computing environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, and defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards. • Provide specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. • Configure and install various security products utilizing Linux OS.
• Work with both the software vendor and the customer to research, analyze, and implement enterprise-wide security solutions/capabilities/enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives
• Assist with design, analysis, testing and implementation of state-of-the-art secure architectures
• Oversee security infrastructure sustainment, maintenance, and advanced configuration (policy management, database administration and security management tools)
• Oversee the reporting, documentation and investigation of all security related incidents; lead the development and implementation of corrective measures Qualifications: Required: • Active TS/SCI clearance. As a post-hire requirement, selected candidates must be able to successfully pass and maintain a government polygraph. • Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Computer Science or related field). Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. • Minimum 5 years of technical experience in Cyber Security. • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certified (current)
• Must obtain a CSSP Infrastructure Support certification within 6 months of hire date
• Working knowledge of maintaining Enterprise Cyber Security Engineering requirements utilizing the following tool: Carbon Black Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
• Knowledge and experience in working with incident response and threat hunting solutions
• Strong hands-on working knowledge of administering applications in a Linux environment
• Experience with large-scale enterprise/global networks in a high-paced, diverse environment
• Understanding of and experience with the DoD Architecture Framework and other key DoD network architecture and strategic planning instructions
• Experience in providing status reports and products to senior management and customers
• Experience with plans, designs, and evaluations of security systems and architectures Desired: • CSSP Infrastructure Support certification
• Windows Enterprise Active Directory (AD) architecture and VMWare virtualization
