Job Description

OES Equipment, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is a fast-paced supply and rental equipment company in the construction industryseeking an experiencedItem Management Assistantwho will maintain and govern item data to support standardized product information, taxonomy structures, and cross-system consistency. They will research,validate, and update item records to ensure completeness and alignment across internal stakeholders. They coordinate item changes and support issue resolution tomaintaindata integrity for reporting and downstream integrations. Finally, they will contribute to testing and continuous improvement activities supporting item management processes and tools. Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to, the following:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains and updates item records in the system of record and related files, including creation ofnew itemsand ongoing maintenance of existing items.

  • Researchesandvalidatesitem attributes, taxonomy categories, and required fields to ensure data completeness and consistent nomenclature.

  • Maps items across internal entities and coordinates assignment and communication of standardized item identifiers to support cross-system alignment.

  • Develops routine reports and status updates to communicate progress, exceptions, and required actions to stakeholders.

  • Resolves item data issues through investigation, documentation review, and stakeholder coordination, and escalates complex items for review as needed.

  • Supports system and process testing for item management workflows by executing test steps, documenting outcomes, and reporting defects or gaps.

  • Partners with product lifecycle management stakeholders to align item records with maintained product details and taxonomy requirements.

Required Skills and Abilities

Education and Experience

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent experiencerequired.

  • 2-4 years of experience in item management, product data administration, master data, operations support, or a related functionrequired.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel,required.

  • Oracle Fusion experience preferred.

  • Experience supporting taxonomy initiatives, product data governance, or systemintegrationspreferred.
