Tax Manager
Locally owned and managed accounting firm in the greater Austin area, known for the exceptional work-life balance offered to its employees, is seeking experienced tax talent to join their growing team.
Highly regarded in the Austin community and the accounting industry at large, the firm has received numerous prestigious awards
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant tax experience at a public accounting firm (preferably a Big 4, national, regional or large local firm) in one of the below areas:
  • Serving high net worth individuals and families and consulting and compliance experience working with personal, estate/gift & trust tax issues
  • Serving real estate businesses, consulting and compliance experience working with multi-state business entities, and experience reviewing partnership agreements and apply concepts for allocation purposes
  • Serving business entities, consulting and compliance experience working with multi-state business entities, experience working with FASB ASC 740, and experience in addressing U.S. tax aspects of companies doing business abroad
  • Experience in addressing U.S. tax aspects of companies doing business abroad
  • Excellent research skills and strong written and verbal communications and people skills
  • Excellent technology, project management and presentation skills
  • CPA certification

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in taxation preferred
