Job description

We are hiring goal-driven, detail-oriented tax preparers to join our team for the upcoming season. We have immediate openings for full-time, part-time, and seasonal preparers. If you’re looking for a place that values accuracy, client service, and professional growth — we’d love to meet you.

Tax Preparer Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual and/or business tax returns using client-provided documents and tax software.
• Review client financial information and prior-year returns for accuracy.
• Calculate taxes, deductions, credits, and plan strategies to maximize client outcomes.
• Communicate with clients and tax authorities professionally and clearly.
• Ensure all tax forms are complete, accurate, and compliant with current regulations.
• Provide basic future tax planning based on client goals.
• Research tax law changes to maintain current knowledge.
• Maintain digital files, track data, and stay organized throughout tax season.

Tax Preparer Requirements:

Valid PTIN (required).
• Tax preparation experience preferred — we welcome a range of experience levels, including those eager to grow or returning to the field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and follow firm procedures.
• Comfortable with technology and tax software (training provided).

Preferred, not required:
• 1–3+ years of individual/business tax prep experience.
• Familiarity with Drake (or similar) software.
• Experience preparing 100–500+ returns (any combination of 1040, Sch C, rental, farm, 1120-S, or 1065).
