Phoenix Financial Group is looking for a skilled and motivated Experienced Tax Resolution Associate / Enrolled Agent to join our growing team in Westminster, CO. Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients before the IRS and state tax agencies in tax resolution matters
  • Analyze client tax situations and develop strategic resolution plans including Offers in Compromise, installment agreements, and penalty abatements
  • Communicate directly with IRS and state revenue officers on behalf of clients
  • Manage a caseload of active tax resolution clients from intake through resolution
  • Stay current on IRS tax codes, regulations, and collection procedures
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely case progression
Requirements:
  • Active IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) designation required
  • 2+ years of hands-on tax resolution experience
  • Strong knowledge of IRS collection processes, tax codes, and compliance procedures
  • Experience with Offers in Compromise, Currently Not Collectible status, and installment agreements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and IRS correspondence
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
