Our Tax Professionals are responsible for the delivery of tax services for multiple clients in a variety of industries. Responsibilities include interacting closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services and working closely with partners on delivering innovative tax planning strategies. This role calls for minimal travel.


Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager with a strong background in international tax to join our dynamic and growing firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive tax research on foreign, state, and other tax matters, writing tax memos, advising clients, collaborating with partners on complex tax issues and reviewing international tax forms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough tax research on international, state and local, individual, corporate and partnership tax matters.
  • Write detailed tax memos.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on various tax issues.
  • Collaborate with partners and other team members on complex tax matters.
  • Analyze and resolve tax notices
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of international tax forms, including Forms 5472, 5471, 8938, and 8865.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and internal team members.
  • High level of technical expertise in tax matters.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience in international tax and general tax research.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA
  • At least five years of public accounting experience
  • ProSystem Fx experience preferred
  • Experience with Thomson Reuters Checkpoint or similar research platform
  • Ability to leverage AI to expediate research while discerning accurate results
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite
