About Us

We’re a well-established accounting and tax firm based in Covina, CA, known for our commitment to accuracy, client service, and professional integrity. We’re seeking a seasoned Tax Preparer / Accountant with strong QuickBooks skills and 5+ years of experience in both tax and accounting. This is a full-time, in-office role dedicated to tax preparation and general accounting support across diverse client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Preparation (Primary Focus)

  • Prepare tax returns for Individuals, Corporations, S-Corps, LLCs, and Partnerships
  •  
  • Lead review of prepared returns for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Respond to tax notices and client inquiries professionally
  • Provide proactive tax planning and strategic guidance
  • Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
  • Bonus: Experience with Non-Profit, Estate, and Trust returns

Accounting Support (Secondary Focus)

  • Perform reconciliations and maintain financial records in QuickBooks (Online/Desktop)
  • Prepare financial statements and assist with payroll and sales tax filings
  • Review financials for consistency and accuracy
  • Support clients with bookkeeping and compliance

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and accounting
  • Proven ability to lead tax review and manage client projects
  • EA or CTEC-Registered Tax Preparer preferred
  • Experience with Lacerte tax software a plus
  • Strong QuickBooks skills (Online and Desktop)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Spanish bilingual is a plus
