Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Return Assembly - Assemble business and individual tax returns. Scanning, document management and communication with clients.
  • Billing & Invoicing – Prepare and process client invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Year-End Processing – Assist with W-2 and 1099 processing and distribution
  • Engagement Letters – Prepare and track engagement letters for all services
  • Administrative Tasks – Maintaining office supplies, correspondence, and maintain client files
  • Proofreading & Document Review – Ensure accuracy and consistency in outgoing documents.
  • Software Use – Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel, use of business software and 10 key data entry for financial statement proofing.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in professional office.
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with a team.

We are a well-established public accounting firm located in the heart of Downtown Columbus. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional accounting, tax, and advisory services to a wide range of clients. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative & Support Specialist to join our team.
This position will average 30 hours per week as follows:
40 hours per week during busy season: January - April; August 15th - October 15th
20-25 hours per week for May-August 15th, Oct 15th - December.
