  • 5+ years of progressive tax consulting and/or compliance experience in public accounting
  • Bachelors Degree and/or Masters Degree in Accounting
  • Licensed CPA
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
  • Strong leadership, training, coaching, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with tax software (preferably CCH Axcess) with the desire to quickly learn new software programs
  • Works well with managing a variety of projects and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service oriented really enjoys people and getting to know our clients, their businesses and the industries that they operate in.

As a Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Management of the preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, tax- exempt and other types of tax returns.
  • Management of the preparation of income tax projections that involve multiple scenarios and complex analysis
  • Coordination and communication with client personnel and others to obtain information essential to delivering tax services
  • Plan and supervise the preparation of schedules and analyses of accounts needed for the preparation of income tax returns and other tax services
  • Remain knowledgeable of new technical developments and leading-edge technologies that are of interest to the firm. Managers must also strive to develop and improve communication, management and leadership skills.
