Job Title: Tax Manager

Location: Fairfax, VA
Salary: $130,000/Yearly | Full-Time

Prioritized Must Have Skills of the Tax Manager:

#1.  Must have CPA or EA License

#2.  Must have Ccorp, Scorp, Partnership & Nhigh Net Worth Tax experience.

#3.  Must have experience in reviewing and preparing 1040, corporate, partnership returns, estates and trusts, and multistate return.

#4.  No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.

Requirements of the Tax Manager:

  • Minimum of 6 years of tax accounting experience in a public accounting firm
  • CPA or EA certification preferred
  • Experience in reviewing and preparing 1040, corporate, partnership returns, estates and trusts, and multistate returns
  • Strong tax research skills
  • Master's in Taxation (preferred) or willingness to obtain
  • Experience with ProSystems Engagement and ProSystems Axcess is beneficial
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Willingness to train and mentor staff
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal client relations skills
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service
  • Ability to work extended hours during tax season (January to April 15th)
