Job description

Investigative Assistant

The Placer County District Attorney's Office is excited to announce an opportunity for an Investigative Assistant to join our Special Investigations Unit (SIU). This specialized investigative unit works collaboratively with county and community partners to identify, prevent, and investigate fraud in an effort to safeguard public funds and protect the community. If you are a proactive, detail-oriented professional, interested in working on a close-knit team, and passionate about identifying and preventing fraud, we encourage you to apply today. To be included in the first round of application screening, submit your application by 5:00 p.m. on September 9, 2026. Following that date, applications will be screened on a bi-weekly basis until the recruitment is closed.
