The Ohio Department of Taxation is responsible for the administration of individual and business taxes across the state. The Ohio Department of Taxation is seeking multiple Tax Examiner Associates.

What You'll do as a Tax Examiner Associate:

  • Serve as the "front line" for customer service by taking phone calls, responding to emails and live chats, and face-to-face interaction at our Welcome Center.
  • Educate taxpayers by responding to written and verbal questions, attending outreach events, and helping create instructional materials.
  • Learn all aspects of the taxes administered by Taxation.

Undergraduate core program in business related field or public administration which included 2 courses in accounting; 3 mos. exp. in customer service.
