We are currently seeking a qualified Tax CPA to join our team in Lenexa, KS. This is a full-time, on-site position, with the potential for a hybrid schedule after initial training.
Position OverviewThe ideal candidate is a licensed CPA with strong experience in tax preparation and planning. You’ll work closely with a diverse client base to prepare returns, conduct research, provide tax-saving strategies, and ensure compliance with evolving tax laws. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
Conduct in-depth tax research and apply findings to client cases
Deliver strategic tax planning and consulting to minimize client tax liabilities
Communicate with federal and state tax authorities on behalf of clients
Maintain strong relationships with clients through consistent, high-quality service
Monitor changes in tax legislation and share relevant updates with the team
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver holistic financial solutions
QualificationsActive CPA License – Required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s in Taxation preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience preparing individual and business tax returns (strong emphasis on business returns)
Solid knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
Proficiency in tax software (UltraTax, ProConnect, or similar platforms)
Ability to interpret financial statements and apply insights to tax planning
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
