KPMG is currently seeking a Associate, Global Trade Shared Services to join our Trade and Customs practice.
Responsibilities:
  • Research and advise clients in a variety of industries on import and export matters
  • Utilize data analytics tools to help solve supply chain problems
  • Develop innovative solutions to help clients conduct their business, encompassing people, processes and technology
  • Work with clients' business, technology and compliance resources on global trade processes and procedures
  • Develop and maintain client and internal relationships
  • Train and mentor interns

Qualifications:
  • Minimum one year of recent data analytics work experience preferably in global trade (import/export declarations, free trade agreements, foreign trade zone, and more
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or foreign equivalent in business, information systems, management information systems, business analytics or related fields
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel
  • Flexibility and ability to think creatively and critically in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment; strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice
