Job Description:
Gen II is looking for a full-time Tax Operations Specialist to join our growing team of professionals. The Tax Operations Specialist will execute tax administration and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and assist the tax professionals, as requested. This position will report to the Tax Operations Manager(s), all under the supervision of the Head of Tax Operations.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
  • Support tax administrative duties in the office
  • Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements
  • Assist in onboarding new tax professionals to the firm
  • Participate actively in the planning and execution of tax team events
  • Facilitate the distribution of client deliverables
  • Organize tax information received from clients and investments
  • Monitor investment portals and save down pertinent tax information
  • Track and log incoming tax notices and client correspondence; ensure timely escalation to the appropriate tax team members
  • Maintain and update internal records to track staff credentials and certifications
  • Support compliance by managing administrative access to key tax software platforms and tools

Job Requirements, Skills, Education and Experience:
  • Comfortable exercising independent judgement and critical thinking in a continuously evolving environment
  • Accurate and detail-orientated
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to prioritize and problem-solve
  • Team player that can adapt to various roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Prior experience as a paralegal or general office administration preferred

salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate's experience level.
Work Arrangement
