Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opportunity

Established cardiothoracic surgery program at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia is seeking an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon.

Qualified Candidates:

  • 5+ year of experience preferred
  • Robotics training/experience preferred
  • Robotic lung experience is a plus, but not required
  • Must be comfortable with non-cardiac pulmonary procedures
  • TAVR experience is required
  • Qualified candidates must have experience with open cardiac procedures: CABG, mitral and aortic valve, and aortic replacements (including dissections)
  • Must be board certified within 5 years of completing training
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Virginia
  • Must be a lawful permanent resident or legal member of the US
