Position Type: Locum to Perm | Physician - Invasive Cardiology
Overview
Locum to Perm Invasive Cardiology opportunity providing inpatient, outpatient, clinic, and call coverage. This position is to support an existing cardiologist during ongoing recruitment and will transition to a permanent role once onboarded.
Practice Highlights
• Inpatient, outpatient, clinic, and call responsibilities
Call ratio: 1:6
• Average clinic volume: 10 patients per day
• Average inpatient admissions: 12-15 per physician per day
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Supervision of 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) required
• Collaborative cardiology team environment
Epic EMR
Coverage Details
• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: Until permanent physician is onboarded
• Full-time coverage required (Monday-Friday + call)
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 120 days
Local providers only (travel limited to mileage reimbursement)
