Willamette Valley Vineyards is looking for an energetic team player, and customer-focused individual to be part of our beautiful Vancouver Tasting Room, overlooking the stunning Columbia River. Our Tasting Room Associates deliver an unforgettable guest journey at through pouring wines, and promoting the sale of wine and memberships in our stunning Estate in the Salem Hills. We create a world-class wine tasting experience for our guests, while sharing the commitment and history of Willamette Valley Vineyards, with a consistent and impactful brand message.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and provide a memorable tasting experience.
  • Describe wines, winemaking techniques and winery history through our unique stories, and promote wine sales and wine club memberships.
  • Take food and wine orders from guests.
  • Assist in serving food, supporting events, and maintaining a sustainable environment
  • Handle routine purchasing transactions, which includes guest account accuracy and processing of all transactions, including processing shipping orders
  • Perform daily opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain supply of clean polished glasses, and assist in keeping wine storage and Tasting Room organized and properly maintained.
  • Expedite and run food to tables in absence of a food runner.
  • Assist with on-site events
  • Assist with other duties, as necessary or requested.
  • Support company's effort to create a more sustainable, cross-cultural, and "green" environment.


Compensation: $17.13/hour + tips for this Vancouver-based position
