Job Summary
TYLin is seeking a motivated Project Manager, Aviation to join our growing Aviation team in the northeast. This position offers the opportunity to support the delivery of major airport infrastructure programs across North America, working alongside airport owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and construction management teams.
This role is ideal for an experienced project coordinator, project controls, document management, or construction administration professional looking to advance into broader project management responsibilities while contributing to some of the aviation industry's most significant capital investments.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex aviation infrastructure projects from planning through construction and closeout.
  • Coordinate project activities across multidisciplinary engineering, architecture, and construction teams.
  • Manage project documentation, submittals, RFIs, transmittals, permits, and project records in accordance with client procedures.
  • Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, cost tracking, risk management, and project reporting.
  • Maintain project controls systems and monitor project performance against schedule and budget objectives.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project delivery.
  • Support procurement activities, consultant contracts, and construction administration processes.
  • Review contractor documentation and assist with change orders, payment applications, and contract modifications.
  • Prepare project reports, meeting minutes, action logs, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  • Monitor quality assurance and document control processes to ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Identify project risks and assist project leadership in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Support project closeout activities, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurately maintained.
  • Foster collaborative relationships across project teams while maintaining a strong client-service mindset.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 5-8 years of experience supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure or transportation projects.
  • Experience working on large capital construction programs.
  • Knowledge of project controls, document management, construction administration, and contract management.
  • Experience coordinating RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred
  • Experience supporting aviation or transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working with airport authorities, transportation agencies, or public-sector clients.
  • Familiarity with Design-Build and alternative project delivery methods.
  • Experience with project management information systems (PMIS), including e-Builder, Procore, SharePoint, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
  • PMP certification or active pursuit of PMP certification.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Multilingual communication skills.
